I emailed Rachel about her making me a pair of cord pants with side panel patchwork and she specially made a pair just for me. I told her what colors I was interested in and she even let me make payments. I received my pants the other day and they are beautiful! The pants are sturdy and will last me along time. "......so, dear goddess, received my THREADS. what can i say except WOW! wow wow wow. what a lovely work of art the skirt is. what perfect petticoats! i danced around in my room for quite some time in them. i really havent found the way to put it-- as Bob Dylan once aptly sang "All my powers of expression and thoughts so sublime could never do you justice" and well, thats how i felt dancing around in those wonderful things. emily has a digital camera so we will send you pics as soon as we can get together and take them. the scarf is wonderful as well-- it happens to match this long velvet aqua green skirt i made out of two velvet dresses that were too small for me and falling apart-- and it looks really good with my plain black bellydancing skirt and choli top too. as for the china blue skirt, i love it, and will probably wear it to death during the summer. mama, you rule!
